When we started this project, there were walls everywhere! And while not always a bad thing, in this case, it completely closed off the space and didn't allow for a natural flow between the entry and adjacent areas.
The client needed a home that spoke to their love of hosting and being together as a family, and we did that.
To infuse warmth, we layered different textures (reeded details, wood and plaster) and repeated them throughout the space. The result is a family-friendly space that feels sophisticated and relaxed at the same time.
